Muffyglass- Iridescent Amber Lattice Vase

Working in glass for over 40 years, Celia has done it all. Beginning with an interest in stained glass, she attended classes at the University of Tennessee, Northern Illinois University, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. For 25 years, Celia held an exclusive contract with the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio for stained glass reproductions sold in the museum bookstore. Later, Celia added fused glass to her repertoire. Her one of a kind platters and bowls have been purchased as corporate recognition gifts and by collectors worldwide. Her works have been displayed at the prestigious Huntington Library. After studying hot glass at Oxbow, the summer campus of the Art Institute of Chicago, Celia again expanded her artistic abilities and achievements. She now specializes in Tiffany inspired, hand-blown vases that are available in The Richard H. Driehaus Museum, The Paine Art Center and Gardens, The Taft Museum, The Crocker Art Museum, The Dayton Art Institute and The Figge Museum. Her works are also presented at the Piece Gallery in Vail, CO.
