Byzantine Quatrefoil Earrings

A quatrefoil mount was the inspiration for these earrings. The original was likely made in a Byzantine jewelry studio, in the second half of the fifth century. It has a star-oval cabochon garnet in its center with flanking pieces of red glass.

Finish: Solid brass, electro-plated with gold finish, hand enameled, glass beads, ear wires are gold plated
